You pay per workload license (€2.95/workstation, €6.35/VM, etc.) plus storage at €0.02/GB. No bundles, no hidden fees — pay only for what you use. Storage is metered monthly based on actual usage.
Is my operating system supported?
Acronis supports Windows (XP SP1 through Windows 11/Server 2025), Linux (kernel 2.6.9-5.19, major distros), and macOS (10.12-15 Sequoia). For the complete list, check Acronis system requirements.
Where is my data stored?
Your backups are stored in Kolo DC Meppel, Netherlands. The datacenter is ISO 27001 certified. This simplifies GDPR compliance documentation.
What's the difference vs. OneDrive/Google Drive?
Sync ≠ backup. If you delete a file or get ransomware, sync services replicate the damage across all devices. Acronis provides true point-in-time recovery with configurable retention — you can restore to any backup point.
Do you install and configure it for me?
This is a self-service product. After purchase, you receive Acronis portal credentials and a getting started guide. You install the agent on your devices and configure backup plans yourself. We provide guidance and support, but we don’t access your machines. This keeps costs low.
Can I resell this to my customers?
Yes — white-label reselling is available. You get access to manage customer accounts through the Acronis portal, with your own branding. No minimum commitment, and your customers’ data stays in our Dutch datacenter.
What if I need more storage?
Storage scales automatically. You’re billed monthly based on actual usage at €0.02/GB. No need to pre-purchase or upgrade tiers — just use what you need and pay for what you use.

With our low prices, we understand that you want to enjoy the savings on licenses without minimum commitments. Contact our support department for a migration strategy.
How long is the free trial?
The free trial runs for 30 days with access to all features and storage locations. No credit card required to start. The trial stops automatically and you can upgrade any time to a paid plan during the trial run.
What's the difference with your shared hosting backups?
Our shared hosting plans include 6 months of Acronis backups at no extra cost. This standalone Acronis Cloud Backup product is for protecting external infrastructure: your own servers, VPS, workstations, NAS, or Microsoft 365 outside our platform. You can offer your clients the same backup features offered in the shared hosting plan with this backup solution.
